Teachers are the everyday heroes who open doors for our children and lead them to a lifetime of learning. They also take the time to make sure students have what they need to succeed in school and in life. Often this means helping them to overcome physical, social and emotional barriers to learning.

Honor a Teacher Campaign

Since 1995 the Roaring Fork Family Resource Centers have helped teachers to open doors for students. By Honoring a Teacher, any teacher, with a donation to the Roaring Fork Family Resource Centers, you can help to ensure that students in the Roaring Fork School District are healthy and ready to learn.

With your help we can:

• Send a child to the dentist for a cleaning or treatment
• Connect a struggling student with tutoring
• Provide a vision exam and a pair of glasses to a student
• Provide mental health counseling to a family
• Enrich a child’s life with a dance class or ski school
• Hold low-cost parenting classes throughout the school district

When you Honor a Teacher you will receive a beautiful card, ready for you to personalize and give to the honored teacher. The honored teacher’s name will appear in the Family Resource Center newsletter. When choosing a teacher gift, please remember the Roaring Fork Family Resource Centers.
